If you want to test the latest Copterus app version, please first install Apple's TestFlight app from the App Store and then follow this link to install Copterus beta app.
Appreciate your feedback, bug reports or feature requests. Thank you!
I added simulator mode to the beta-testing app, so it's possible to test-fly on the table.
The simulator itself runs on the drone's board controller, so you need your drone connected and turned on. First, remove propellers for safety, connect and turn everything on as usual.
Once the app detected your drone, open mission or zoom and choose takeoff location on the map. Tap AND HOLD on desired location and wait for confirmation alert to appear. Tap Start simulator, wait few seconds and you are ready to go. You can test-fly a mission or just fly your drone manually.
To turn simulator off: turn off and on your drone.
Hi
Im using the Beta test app and just took my mavic 2 pro out to test.
I did a 2D map of a park and everything went great. my question.. what kind of software will there be with the final app to stitch the images together to create the final full map. will there be something incorporated on your website or app that will create it or do you recommend something i can use to create it.
Hello Patrick,
You need photogrammetry software for that. Besides, you need a very powerful PC for it to work fast. The most known and expensive is Pix4D. They also have cloud processing. Also check Agisoft Metashape Pro and SimActive. If you are familiar with command line and Linux, there is an open-source WebODM. They also have cloud processing with pay-for-use model.
As for me, I use Agisoft Metashape Pro in cloud, which is available with a choice of different machine configuration here: https://www.geocloud.work
Hello Nikolay,
I have been using your "Copterus #Autopilot for DJI" app with my DJI Mavic Air 2 for the past few days. The Copterus app is awesome. How is it possible to adjust the flight speed? At an altitude of 70m, the flight speed is 27km/h. I would like to fly slower. For example, 10km/h - is this possible? Thank you for your feedback
Lars
Hello Lars,
Just replied your email, here is a copy info for forum readers:
Speed control will come with next update. There are also a lot of small and complex features under development which will gradually be available with future updates.
Hello,
KML export will be available in one of the upcoming updates.
Please check the latest beta with 3D preview, will it help you a little bit for track validation?

Hello Eric, Mini does not support missions, that is DJI hardware limit. Sorry
Rainbow sait
Bonjour Eric.

New Copterus app update is now available in TestFlight. It includes Mavic Air 2 support and automated missions for Mavic Mini 1.

Hi there,
Just wonder, is ther anyway I could export my mission to other extension such as *.kml? So I could validate the mission track. Thank you.
