I'm planning a mapping project using a Mavic Air 2 to cover around 55 hectares in a location that's relatively off the grid. As such, I'll get no cell signal while I'm on-site, which will mean I have no access to map apps. Open ground near the site means GPS will likely not be an issue if I properly plan ahead. There's a relatively significant change in elevation between the highest and lowest part of my proposed flight path at ground level. Location is at 17.120, -88.931.
I have a couple missions planned out, but I do still have a few questions I'd like to ask before I get started: 1) Will I be able to load/execute my saved missions on-site if I don't have cell signal? 2) Do missions allow for variable heights at specific points during the process? 3) Will the change in elevation present issues creating both a 2D and 3D map of the site?
